SQA Engineer (AI)

TenTwenty Digital Agency is seeking a skilled SQA Engineer to join our onsite team in Islamabad. This role goes beyond traditional test execution, requiring a proactive individual who can take full ownership of quality assurance, enhance QA processes, collaborate closely with development teams, and contribute to building AI-assisted software testing methodologies. Key Responsibilities

- Manage quality assurance activities across web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Design and execute a variety of tests including functional, regression, integration, API, UI/UX, responsiveness, performance, security, and exploratory testing.
- Review requirements, design documents, and technical specifications to identify gaps and risks early in the development cycle.
- Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, test scenarios, and comprehensive QA documentation.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Utilize automation frameworks like Playwright, Appium, or similar tools to enhance testing efficiency.
- Contribute to AI-assisted workflows, including test execution and reporting.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects while collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in release validation, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and conduct production sanity checks.
- Analyze recurring defects and recommend process improvements to prevent future issues.
- Help establish and continuously improve QA standards, processes, and best practices within the team.

Required Qualifications

- 2 to 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong expertise in manual testing with a solid understanding of QA methodologies.
- Proficient knowledge of AI concepts and the ability to write precise, technical AI prompts.
- Experience with automation testing and a willingness to expand automation coverage.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, Grok, or similar platforms used in QA.
- Experience in building or maintaining AI-assisted QA and automation workflows.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Hands-on experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
- Good understanding of Agile and Scrum development environments.
- Proficiency with tools such as Postman, Playwright, Appium, Git, or similar.
- Strong grasp of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and software testing principles.
- Ability to take ownership of QA activities and work independently.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins is a plus.
- Familiarity with Selenium and Cypress automation tools is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant QA certifications such as ISTQB are advantageous.

Compensation: Starting from Rs200,000 per month
