Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the quality assurance process by designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for software applications interacting with smart devices.
- Perform thorough UI/UX evaluations to ensure an optimal user experience.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, document, and track defects and issues.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git to manage code and testing artifacts.
- Stay updated with coding best practices and industry trends to improve testing methodologies.
- Support embedded firmware and web/app development testing efforts through basic coding and scripting.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
- Solid understanding of software quality assurance principles and coding best practices.
- Basic coding experience, particularly in embedded firmware or web/app development environments.
- Proficiency with Git version control system.
- Strong skills in UI/UX evaluation and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience working with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, or RFID is highly desirable.
- Exposure to IoT device testing or related domains will be considered an advantage.
