SQA Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform detailed manual testing to identify defects, ensuring software meets quality standards.
- Document and report defects clearly with actionable details to facilitate timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and validate functionality.
- Support the release process by ensuring software reliability and readiness for deployment.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining best practices in software quality assurance.
- Engage in peer reviews and provide feedback to enhance product quality and team efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Software Quality, Software Quality Assurance, and Quality Assurance principles.
- Proficient in manual testing, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
- Solid understanding of software development concepts and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications, including cross-browser and cross-platform verification as well as regression testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and clear documentation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with test management tools and issue tracking systems.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools is considered an advantage.
