SQA Engineer

Located in NFC, Lahore, this full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience. The role involves working standard hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of various software applications through both manual and automated testing. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications, management platforms, HR systems, dashboards, and workflow-based applications, playing a key role in delivering efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing to verify software functionality and performance across multiple platforms.
- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, scenarios, and comprehensive test plans aligned with project requirements.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects and bugs throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Test HR management systems, dashboards, and business workflow applications to validate their accuracy and usability.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve software quality.
- Maintain thorough testing documentation and prepare detailed reports to support software release decisions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance.
- Practical experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and various testing techniques.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools and bug-tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Compensation and Work Environment
This position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs70,000 to Rs150,000. The role requires physical presence at the workplace, providing an excellent opportunity to work closely with the development team and actively contribute to the company’s software quality initiatives.
