SQA Engineer

Softmatic Solutions is seeking a motivated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with 6 months to 2 years of experience, including fresh graduates, to join our dynamic team in Garden Town, Lahore. This full-time, onsite role operates from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to help ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards. Preference will be given to graduates from reputable universities such as PUCIT, UMT, FAST, NUST, UET, UOL, or COMSATS. Recommendations are highly encouraged.

Softmatic Solutions specializes in software and game development, offering services in Xamarin, Cocos2d, Unity, Flutter, Native Android, and Native iOS platforms. We also provide expertise in WordPress development, .NET solutions, and Power BI for data visualization and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual testing on websites and applications to identify bugs and ensure functionality.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand features and requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Ensure software performs efficiently and is free from bugs across different platforms.
- Prepare and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and comprehensive documentation.
- Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing as required.
- Communicate testing results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and Waterfall model.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
- Preferably a graduate from recognized institutions such as UMT, FAST, NUST, FC, or COMSATS.
