SQA Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern to join our development team in Islamabad. This internship is designed for fresh graduates or final-year students who have a passion for software testing and quality assurance. The role involves supporting the quality, functionality, performance, and reliability of both web and mobile applications through manual testing, basic automation, and AI-assisted QA practices. The intern will adopt modern testing methodologies, utilize AI-powered tools, and contribute to enhancing testing efficiency while maintaining high standards of software quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications to ensure proper functionality and usability.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases, documenting software defects with accuracy.
- Conduct functional, regression, and user interface (UI) testing to validate application behavior.
- Assist in API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Explore and apply AI-powered tools to generate test cases, detect issues, and improve testing efficiency.
- Support basic automation testing activities under the supervision of experienced team members.
- Collaborate closely with developers to verify bug fixes and confirm issue resolution.
- Maintain thorough testing documentation, including test results and bug reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and overall QA effectiveness.

- Utilize AI-driven tools to generate comprehensive test cases, identify edge cases, and enhance test coverage.
- Apply AI-assisted testing techniques to speed up defect detection and reduce repetitive manual testing efforts.
- Leverage AI-based QA solutions such as ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot to increase testing productivity.

- Contribute to reducing testing turnaround time while maintaining software quality standards.

Required Qualifications
- Fresh graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Interest in AI-powered QA tools, software testing methodologies, and test automation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Basic experience with API testing using Postman.
- Familiarity with SQL and bug-tracking tools.
- Exposure to AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing is a plus but not mandatory.
