This internship opportunity is designed for recent graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields who are eager to gain hands-on experience in software testing. The role involves working closely with development teams to ensure the quality and functionality of web and mobile applications. Interns will engage in various testing activities, contribute to documentation, and help improve overall product quality in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and executing test cases based on project requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, and user interface testing on both web and mobile applications.
- Report, track, and document bugs and issues using industry-standard issue tracking tools such as JIRA or Trello.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and maintain communication throughout the debugging process.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation and support quality assurance processes.
Required Qualifications
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with core software testing concepts, including manual testing, writing test cases, and bug reporting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to clearly document and discuss issues.
- Knowledge of testing tools is an added advantage.
