We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all software products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability prior to release. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, possesses strong analytical skills, and is dedicated to delivering flawless user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to cover all aspects of the software.
- Execute both manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications to identify defects early.
- Identify, document, and track bugs throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to maintain quality standards at every stage of development.
- Conduct various types of testing including regression, functional, performance, and UI/UX validation to ensure robustness.
- Verify that products comply with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, testing techniques, and defect tracking processes.
- Proven experience with manual testing; experience in automation testing is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as JIRA, Trello, Selenium, Postman, and JMeter.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, SQL, and version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
This is a full-time, in-person position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs120,000 to Rs135,000. The role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality software products while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
