SQA Manager

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Lead to oversee and enhance the quality assurance processes across web, desktop, mobile, and AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading and mentoring junior SQA engineers, driving test automation initiatives, and implementing innovative testing methodologies. This role requires a proactive mindset towards adopting emerging technologies, particularly AI, to improve testing efficiency and product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that define objectives, scope, coverage, and success criteria for various platforms including web, desktop, mobile, and AI-powered applications.
- Lead test execution efforts, ensuring thorough coverage and timely identification and resolution of defects in close collaboration with development teams.
- Drive automation and AI-assisted testing initiatives by developing and maintaining automated regression suites and identifying suitable scenarios for automation.
- Utilize AI technologies for test generation, script maintenance, and process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key quality metrics to evaluate software quality and track project progress effectively.
- Prepare and present detailed test reports to stakeholders, communicating findings clearly and effectively.
- Champion and implement best practices in software quality assurance to elevate overall product quality and team performance.

Required Qualifications

- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and guide junior SQA engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach to identifying issues, improving processes, and delivering high-quality results consistently.
- Solid knowledge of SQA methodologies, testing techniques, automation frameworks, and AI-assisted testing practices.
- Hands-on experience designing and executing test cases across web, desktop, and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with popular test automation frameworks and AI-powered testing tools.
- Understanding of testing AI-powered applications, including validation of accuracy, reliability, consistency, and response behavior.
