LDP Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its Finance team at the Bahadurabad, Karachi office. This full-time, on-site position operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, advanced Excel capabilities, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks. Additionally, the role requires confidence in communicating directly with C-level executives and senior management, supporting critical financial functions within a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain detailed ledgers, financial records, and perform regular reconciliations.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.
- Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, vendor and customer accounts, and general ledger (GL) reconciliations.
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage accounting records and transactions efficiently.
- Develop financial models, dashboards, and reports using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and overall financial planning activities.
- Conduct variance analysis and deliver insightful financial information to management for decision-making.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual transactions promptly.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely reporting.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, vendors, auditors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and present financial reports tailored for C-level executives and senior management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Proven hands-on experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build complex financial models and reports.
- Solid experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders.
- Confidence in engaging and communicating with senior management and C-level executives.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience working in a USA-based or similarly fast-paced business environment is an advantage.
- The role requires working on-site to facilitate close collaboration with the finance team and other departments.
