Sr. Accountant

Forsee Logistics is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team on a full-time, on-site basis at their Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi location. The role requires a minimum of five years of professional accounting experience and strong proficiency in QuickBooks. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing financial reports independently. This position operates Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping.
- Maintain and oversee company accounts using QuickBooks software.
- Record and track income, expenses, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and periodic accounts.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Monitor cash flow, operational expenses, and identify financial discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation for invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other financial records.
- Assist management with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting tasks.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial procedures.
- Identify discrepancies in accounting processes and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Practical experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial recordkeeping.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in handling financial data.
- Ability to work independently and manage accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in the car rental, automobile, or transport industry is considered an advantage.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs80,000.
- Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, providing a consistent routine.
