We are seeking a Sr. Associate – Content Acquisition & Production to spearhead content planning, acquisition, licensing, partnerships, and production initiatives across our digital platforms. This role involves building a robust and commercially valuable content pipeline by fostering strong relationships with content creators, production houses, broadcasters, podcasters, studios, influencers, rights holders, and other key industry partners. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in content production and managing external content partnerships, with the ability to independently oversee projects from concept through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content acquisition, licensing, and production strategies aligned with platform growth and audience engagement goals.
- Identify and source diverse content formats, including shows, podcasts, livestreams, short-form videos, original series, and event coverage.
- Cultivate and maintain partnerships with creators, production houses, broadcasters, studios, podcasters, influencers, and rights holders.
- Lead negotiations for content partnerships, licensing agreements, syndication deals, revenue-sharing models, and content exchanges in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Assess content opportunities based on audience relevance, platform fit, quality, cost, engagement potential, and monetization possibilities.
- Collaborate with independent and established producers to acquire, license, distribute, or co-produce content.
- Develop original content concepts and translate them into production-ready formats, including budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
- Manage the entire production lifecycle: concept development, scripting, pre-production, shoots, post-production, approvals, and final delivery.
- Oversee and supervise shoots, livestreams, podcasts, interviews, and studio or on-location recordings independently.
- Coordinate with production crews, presenters, guests, vendors, editors, designers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure all content has appropriate rights, permissions, releases, contracts, and documentation.
- Maintain a structured content pipeline and calendar covering productions, licensed content, releases, livestreams, and promotional materials.
- Work closely with Marketing, Growth, Product, Design, Social Media, Partnerships, and Commercial teams to maximize content reach and performance.
- Develop repeatable content formats and franchises that drive user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Monitor content performance and leverage audience insights to refine programming, partnerships, and production processes.
- Ensure all content complies with editorial, brand, technical, legal, and platform standards.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure timely, high-quality execution across all projects.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Marketing, Mass Communication, Film, Communications, or a related discipline.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in content production, digital media, broadcasting, OTT, or content partnerships.
- Strong expertise in content production, acquisition, licensing, distribution, and digital media landscapes.
- Proven ability to manage video productions, podcasts, livestreams, shows, interviews, and short-form content independently.
- Skilled in planning and managing shoots, production teams, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
- Solid understanding of content rights, usage permissions, licensing frameworks, and partnership models.
- Working knowledge of cameras, lighting, sound, production equipment, editing workflows, and post-production processes.
- Strong editorial judgment coupled with an understanding of digital audience behavior.
- Exceptional project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple content projects and partnerships simultaneously.
- Willingness to actively support or participate in content production as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within OTT, streaming, broadcast, digital media, or creator ecosystems.
- Established network of relationships with content creators, production houses, studios, broadcasters, podcasters, or influencers.
- Background in content licensing, syndication, or commercial content partnerships.
- Proven track record in developing original content formats or scalable content franchises.
- Deep understanding of digital content trends and audience engagement patterns.
