Sr. Associate - Accounts Receivable

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer accounts and ensure the timely collection of payments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for invoicing, tracking payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills to follow up on overdue payments and resolve discrepancies while supporting month-end closing activities. Key Responsibilities

- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Generate and send accurate invoices while tracking incoming payments consistently.
- Reconcile account balances regularly and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Follow up with clients regarding overdue payments to minimize outstanding receivables.
- Handle payment inquiries professionally and negotiate payment terms when necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of invoices, receipts, and all related communications.
- Set up new client accounts and assess credit limits based on company policies.
- Support month-end closing processes and prepare accounts receivable reports for management review.
- Identify and flag high-risk accounts for further evaluation and action.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies and financial procedures throughout all activities.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data management and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and collection processes.
