Sr. Dot Net Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions, IoT platforms, mobile applications, data platforms, and cloud-native systems. This role requires a strong technical leader who can create scalable architectures, define security frameworks, and drive innovation through collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will oversee project delivery, manage engineering teams, and ensure adherence to best practices in software development, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Technical Leadership:
Design comprehensive end-to-end architectures for AI, IoT, mobile, data, and cloud-native systems. Develop architecture diagrams, data models, API specifications, and cloud infrastructure plans. Define security and compliance frameworks to support scalable and secure systems. Evaluate emerging technologies aligned with research and development goals. Establish and enforce architecture standards and best practices across multiple projects.

Project Oversight & Delivery Management:
Act as the technical lead and solution owner for software development initiatives. Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical scope and architecture approaches. Provide accurate effort estimates and guide sprint planning. Ensure code quality, security, and DevOps best practices are consistently followed. Oversee AI model governance and integration strategies to maintain system integrity.

R&D & Innovation Enablement:
Work alongside research teams to convert innovative concepts into viable technical architectures. Support the technical aspects of grant proposals and innovation projects. Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts through rapid experimentation. Assess new frameworks, tools, and platforms to drive innovation programs. Champion the adoption of emerging technologies within product development cycles.

System Design & Integration:
Architect scalable, cloud-native, and microservices-based systems with API-first and event-driven designs. Define data platform architectures and integration methods to ensure system reliability and performance. Implement secure integration across diverse platforms to maintain operational excellence.

Security & Compliance Governance:
Ensure all architectures comply with relevant security standards such as HIPAA and NIST. Define secure authentication, authorization, and data protection models. Incorporate risk mitigation strategies into system designs. Enforce cloud security and DevSecOps practices to safeguard infrastructure and data.

Team Management & Leadership:
Lead and manage the engineering and architecture teams, providing mentorship and technical guidance. Allocate resources effectively and balance workloads across projects. Conduct performance reviews and support professional development initiatives. Promote adherence to architecture standards and timely delivery. Foster a collaborative environment across cross-functional teams.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Engage with clients, government partners, universities, and internal stakeholders to present technical architectures in an accessible manner. Validate solution feasibility and scalability with diverse teams. Provide ongoing technical guidance to engineering and product groups to ensure alignment and success.

Technical Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
Document architecture designs, technical decisions, and reusable frameworks. Prepare comprehensive architecture guidelines and maintain governance documentation. Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to disseminate best practices and maintain high standards across engineering teams.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software architecture or senior engineering roles
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure ML, or SageMaker
- Experience with IoT ecosystems and edge computing technologies
- Strong expertise in API and microservices architecture
- Background in mobile application and data platform development
- Proven leadership experience managing software development teams
- Deep understanding of scalability, security, and system integration patterns

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare systems and compliance standards such as HIPAA and FDA
- Expertise in architecting AI systems for real-time data processing or predictive analytics
- Background in research and development or innovation-driven environments
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or PMP
