Sr. Expert Procurement Systems

We are seeking a Senior Expert in Procurement Systems to join Telenor Shared Services Pakistan, based in Islamabad. Reporting to the Head of Coupa DevOps, this role focuses on the administration, configuration, development, and operation of the Coupa platform—a cloud-based spend management solution integrated with global ERP systems. The successful candidate will lead efforts to maintain platform stability, ensure data quality, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other platform groups. This position requires expertise in Coupa, Functional DevOps, Agile methodologies, and a strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day administration and operational management of the Coupa platform, ensuring stability, data accuracy, and compliance with governance standards.
- Manage user roles, permissions, groups, and access controls in line with security policies and business needs.
- Perform master data administration and maintain data integrity across relevant Coupa modules.
- Conduct regular system housekeeping, platform health checks, and administrative controls to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Analyze and process change requests, assessing functional impacts, dependencies, and risks while recommending improvements aligned with global Coupa standards.
- Support incident management, including high-severity and complex issues, coordinating resolution efforts with Functional DevOps, integration, ERP, vendor, and technical teams.
- Facilitate testing, release, and change management activities by validating configurations and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide analytics and operational insights to monitor platform usage, data quality, and incident trends, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Act as a subject matter expert in governance forums, promoting standardization and continuous improvement across business units.
- Identify and implement AI-driven opportunities for process enhancement and operational efficiency within Coupa or related procurement environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to SLAs, governance frameworks, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with a functional understanding of Financials and Supply Chain Management processes.
- Alternatively, a degree in Finance, CA, or ACCA with relevant ERP implementation experience is acceptable.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in ERP or procurement technology implementation, specifically with Coupa or Source-to-Pay solutions.
- Proven expertise in Coupa platform administration, process design, system configuration, testing, change management, production support, and end-user training.
- Strong knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, supplier management, and invoicing.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and diverse cultures, including flexibility to work shifts, public holidays, and off days.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
