As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in building and enhancing secure, modern admin portals and dashboards using React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Your responsibilities will extend beyond frontend development to include backend integrations and cloud technologies, ensuring applications are reliable, maintainable, and production-ready. You will be part of a small engineering team where you can take ownership of technical challenges, contribute to product improvements, and help strengthen development and deployment practices. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure admin portals and dashboards using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Develop native Next.js applications leveraging App Router, server components, middleware, and API routes.
- Build and maintain server-side authentication and enhance role-based access control (RBAC) features.
- Create and maintain automated frontend tests using Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, taking ownership of application deployments with GitHub Actions, Docker, and AWS.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services, including server-side API gateways.
- Independently investigate and resolve application, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve frontend performance, reliability, and code quality.
- Participate in technical discussions, evaluate current approaches, and recommend practical solutions.
- Support ongoing product development by contributing to platform stability and maturity.
- Review and validate AI-assisted code to ensure it meets technical, quality, and integration standards.

Required Qualifications
- Strong professional experience in building frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- In-depth expertise with native Next.js development, including App Router, server components, server-side authentication, API routes, and middleware.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining admin portals and dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with frontend automated testing tools such as Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions; experience with GitLab CI or Jenkins is also valued.
- Practical knowledge of Docker and AWS for application deployment and delivery.
- Ability to independently manage frontend deployments and troubleshoot production issues.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and services.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and confidence working independently within a small engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience developing or enhancing role-based access control (RBAC).
- Proven success in improving frontend performance with measurable outcomes.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG), including accessible color schemes, tooltips, and multilingual support.
- Experience with server-side authentication methods beyond AWS Amplify or .NET.
- Additional full-stack development experience.
- Contributions to product enhancements and platform maturity improvements.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, including reviewing and validating AI-generated code.
