Sr Frontend Engineer - React/Next.js & AWS (Remote, Full-Time) [AS315] (PK)

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain secure admin portals and dashboards using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Build native Next.js applications utilizing App Router, server components, middleware, and API routes.
- Develop and support server-side authentication features and enhance role-based access control (RBAC).
- Create and maintain automated frontend tests with Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, overseeing application deployments with GitHub Actions, Docker, and AWS.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services, including server-side API gateways.
- Independently investigate and resolve issues related to applications, deployments, and infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities to improve frontend performance, reliability, and code quality.
- Participate in technical discussions, evaluate current approaches, and recommend practical solutions.
- Support ongoing product development by contributing to platform stability and maturity.
- Review and validate AI-assisted code to ensure it meets technical and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

- Extensive professional experience building frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Deep knowledge of native Next.js development, including App Router, server components, server-side authentication, API routes, and middleware.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining admin portals and dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with frontend automated testing frameworks such as Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
- Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions; familiarity with GitLab CI or Jenkins is a plus.
- Practical skills in using Docker and AWS for application deployment and delivery.
- Ability to independently manage frontend deployments and troubleshoot production issues.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and services.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and confidence working autonomously within a small engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG), including accessible color schemes, tooltips, and multilingual support.

- Experience with AI-assisted development tools, including reviewing and validating AI-generated code.
