We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Officer to take charge of daily IT operations and manage our enterprise infrastructure. This role involves securing over 100 terabytes of critical data, maintaining endpoint antivirus solutions, and strengthening cybersecurity defenses. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth system performance, safeguard data integrity, and optimize network connectivity while leading incident response efforts.

Key Responsibilities

- IT Operations & Infrastructure: Manage daily system operations across Windows and Linux server environments. Oversee user access controls, handle IT support escalations efficiently, and supervise the lifecycle of hardware assets to maintain optimal infrastructure health.

- Data Management: Protect and administer more than 100 terabytes of enterprise data. Implement robust backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and manage SAN/NAS storage systems to ensure data availability and resilience.

- Cybersecurity & Antivirus: Deploy and maintain enterprise antivirus and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms. Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools such as Nessus and Nmap, configure firewalls, and lead incident response initiatives to mitigate security risks.

- Networking & Automation: Optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, and VPN networks for reliable connectivity. Manage SQL databases and develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to streamline IT processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in IT operations, infrastructure administration, cybersecurity, and managing high-capacity storage environments.

- Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or CCNA are highly desirable.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in system administration for both Windows and Linux platforms. Experience with enterprise antivirus/EDR solutions, SAN/NAS storage management, networking protocols, SQL database administration, scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and security tools.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is Rs100,000 to Rs130,000.
