Sr. Manager Internal Audit

JU Group is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead its Internal Audit department based in Valencia Town, Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the organization’s internal control environment, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and providing independent assurance to senior management and the Audit Committee. This leadership role requires a professional who can effectively manage audit planning, execution, reporting, and team development while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive, risk-based annual internal audit plan.
- Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and special audits across various departments.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations and present them to Top Management and the Audit Committee.
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions related to audit findings.
- Ensure organizational compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
- Lead investigations into any irregularities or suspected fraud.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities as necessary.
- Mentor and lead the Internal Audit team, ensuring adherence to professional auditing standards and continuous skill development.

Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant post-articles experience in audit, accounting, or risk management.
- Proven expertise in internal audit processes, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
- Strong financial analysis, compliance knowledge, and fraud risk assessment skills.
- Excellent leadership abilities, analytical thinking, and report-writing proficiency.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to professional ethics.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in any of the following sectors will be considered an advantage:
- Oil & Petroleum Sector, particularly LPG.
- Transport Sector.
- Welfare Sector.

Compensation and Work Environment:
The position offers a monthly salary of PKR 300,000. This is an in-person role based in Lahore, requiring the candidate to work onsite.
