Sr. Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Manage datacenter infrastructure and networking operations.
- Work with modern datacenter technologies including Cisco Nexus 9000, vPC, VXLAN, and spine-leaf architectures.
- Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 support for complex incidents across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Handle hands-on Microsoft Azure networking tasks such as vWAN, VNets, VPN Gateways, NSGs, routing patterns, and connectivity design.
- Design and troubleshoot IPSec Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs across multi-vendor firewall solutions like Cisco and Fortinet.
- Architect and support large-scale routing environments, including BGP, ISP/MPLS integrations, and performance optimization.
- Deploy and manage enterprise infrastructure including Cisco ASR routers, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus switches, and ASA/Firepower firewalls.
- Configure and support VLANs, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS L2/L3 VPNs, NAT/PAT, ACLs, and advanced routing/security features.
- Perform upgrades, maintenance, patching, and lifecycle management across network and security platforms.
- Coordinate with ISP/MPLS providers and manage escalation cases with vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, and Microsoft.
- Maintain compliance by adhering to standardized change control, configuration policies, and operational best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Over 8 years of hands-on experience in cloud, enterprise, or service provider network environments.
- Expertise with high-end Cisco platforms including ASR routers, Nexus 9000, and Catalyst switches.
- Strong experience with firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Firepower/FTD, and Fortinet FortiGate.
- Deep understanding of routing and switching fundamentals, including advanced protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, and MPLS services.
- Proven ability to build secure hybrid-cloud networks and troubleshoot complex, large-scale multi-layer networking issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with global and multicultural teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Cisco ACI is highly desirable.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience may substitute.
- Professional certifications such as CCIE Routing & Switching or CCIE Security are advantageous.
