Sr. Oracle Database Administrator - immedate join

HOBM Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with over six years of experience to join their team in Karachi, Pakistan. This full-time, onsite role involves managing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-level Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in various Oracle technologies and be capable of ensuring database performance, security, and availability in a dynamic business setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard environments for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Work with Oracle APEX, Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), Tomcat, and Jasper Server to support application integration and reporting needs.
- Perform backup and recovery operations using RMAN to safeguard data integrity.
- Conduct database performance tuning and troubleshoot issues to maintain system efficiency.
- Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
- Operate within Linux (Red Hat) and Windows server environments to support database infrastructure.
- Implement database security measures, continuous monitoring, and ensure high availability of services.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven hands-on experience managing Oracle database environments in enterprise settings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to address complex database issues.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Karachi.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is considered an advantage.
