Job Title: Product Consultant – Pharma Software Implementation

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Product Consultant to join our team, specializing in pharmaceutical software implementation projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and have hands-on experience with software solutions tailored to this industry. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of software systems that improve operational efficiency and maintain compliance within pharmaceutical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and document clear business requirements, ensuring mutual understanding across teams.
Analysis and Documentation: Analyze existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and prepare comprehensive documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and Use Cases.
Solution Design: Partner with software developers and IT teams to design software solutions that meet business needs while adhering to industry regulations and standards.
Project Management Support: Assist in project planning, track progress, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to verify that software solutions fulfill business requirements. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and address any issues that arise during the process.
Training and Support: Deliver training sessions to end-users and provide ongoing support post-implementation to ensure smooth adoption and optimal utilization of new systems.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all software implementations comply with relevant industry standards such as GxP, FDA regulations, and other applicable guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ECE, CSE, IT, EEE).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Product Consultant, with at least 2 years focused on pharmaceutical software implementation projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in requirements management tools like ZOHO and TFS, familiarity with SQL, and a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of pharmaceutical industry standards, regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA), and compliance practices.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capability to work collaboratively in a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Software Expertise: Experience with pharmaceutical software solutions such as Batch Record Management (BRM) and ERP systems.
Project Management: Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies to support project delivery.
Vendor Management: Experience coordinating with software vendors and managing third-party relationships.
Additional Skills: Familiarity with electronic batch record (EBR) software platforms and data management principles is advantageous. Understanding regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing, including GMP standards, is a plus. Certifications related to instrument integration, automation technologies, or EBR platforms will be beneficial.
