Sr. Software Engineer (Ruby On Rails)

As a Senior Software Engineer I (SSE-I), you will play a pivotal role in leading the technical aspects of software development. Your responsibilities will include mentoring team members and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop, optimize, and maintain complex software solutions, driving projects from conception through to deployment.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage the full software development life cycle, from requirement analysis to deployment.
- Lead the understanding of requirements, architecture design, and development of complex applications.
- Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Implement clean, efficient, and secure code based on specifications, utilizing design patterns and coding standards.
- Write and maintain test cases as necessary to ensure application robustness, usability, and reliability.
- Continuously update your skills by learning and applying best practices, particularly in Ruby on Rails, MERN stack, and frontend technologies.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure applications meet business needs and user requirements.
- Assist in documenting application features, functionality, and user guides.
- Lead and manage written communications independently, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Facilitate and lead calls and meetings, promoting clear communication and effective discussion management.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by writing robust, optimized, and scalable code.
- Debug and resolve issues promptly as they arise.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, improving backend and frontend infrastructure.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and provide technical direction and innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Mentor peers in a collaborative programming environment, providing guidance on tasks regardless of complexity.
- Support hiring and recruitment efforts by conducting assessments and interviews.
- Engage in continuous learning through relevant courses to enhance required skills.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
