We are currently seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Test Strategy: Develop detailed test plans, cases, and strategies for web and mobile applications. Define quality standards and testing methodologies to ensure alignment with business requirements and technical specifications. Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to identify quality risks early. Establish testing processes that support continuous delivery and high-quality releases.

Functional & Non-Functional Testing: Execute various testing types including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing. Perform API testing to validate responses, error handling, and data integrity. Conduct performance, usability, compatibility, and reliability testing. Verify end-to-end workflows across web, mobile, and backend systems. Ensure all defects are validated before release.

Test Automation & API Validation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Selenium, and Appium. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enhance release efficiency. Continuously improve automation frameworks and increase automation coverage to reduce manual efforts.

Defect Management & Quality Control: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and verify fixes. Perform regression testing post-defect resolution. Monitor defect trends and recommend quality improvements. Ensure timely bug closure while maintaining standards.

Agile Collaboration & Delivery Support: Actively engage in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, Team Leads, and Developers throughout the development lifecycle. Provide QA feedback during feature design and development. Support release planning and deployment validation to meet project timelines.

Performance, Security & Compliance Testing: Conduct performance testing to evaluate system stability and scalability. Support security testing initiatives to identify vulnerabilities. Validate compliance with quality standards and industry best practices. Recommend enhancements to improve system performance and security.

Quality Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Track and report testing progress, defect metrics, and release readiness. Create dashboards and quality reports for stakeholders. Analyze outcomes to identify improvement opportunities. Contribute to QA process enhancements and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Prepare and maintain detailed test cases, scenarios, and execution reports. Document testing procedures, automation frameworks, and quality standards. Develop reusable testing assets and share best practices across teams. Maintain QA documentation for audits and project references.

Team Management & Leadership: Lead and mentor the QA team by setting performance goals, allocating resources, conducting reviews, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality testing outcomes across projects.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Testing, or Quality Engineering roles. Strong expertise in testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs. Proficient in both manual and automated testing methodologies. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Skilled in SQL queries, database validation, and data verification. Knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright. Familiarity with API testing frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, and Swagger. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling. Knowledge of security testing concepts and tools. ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus. Experience working in Agile product development environments.
