Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Lahore, is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join its team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients while adhering to established standards for environmental and infection control. This position involves supporting clinical services, aseptic preparation, and dispensing activities to meet the needs of hospital users. Additionally, the Staff Pharmacist will contribute to the education and training of pharmaceutical staff as required, ensuring continuous professional development within the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including aseptic techniques, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Maintain strict compliance with environmental and infection control standards to promote patient and staff safety.
- Support clinical pharmacy services by collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.
- Participate actively in the teaching and training of pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping related to pharmaceutical services.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacy operations and patient care protocols.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Pharmacy Council.
- A minimum of two years’ experience working as a hospital pharmacist.
- Valid license issued by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with healthcare teams and patients.
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to pharmacy practice and hospital information systems.
