We are looking for a motivated and responsible Store Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising staff, managing inventory, delivering excellent customer service, and contributing to the achievement of sales and operational goals. This position requires a proactive individual who can maintain store standards and ensure smooth functioning throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supervise and support store staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels closely and coordinate timely stock replenishment to avoid shortages.
- Ensure that products are attractively displayed and that the store is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Assist with cash handling, billing processes, and prepare accurate end-of-day financial reports.
- Monitor staff attendance, manage scheduling, and track productivity to optimize workforce performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to support management decision-making.
- Support sales initiatives and actively contribute to meeting and exceeding store targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in retail or store management roles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, as well as experience with POS and store management systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
