We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the complete operations of a hotel store, managing daily inventory activities with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of various supplies across multiple departments including food and beverage, housekeeping, engineering, and general stores. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with different hotel departments to maintain optimal stock levels and uphold inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of hotel store operations and daily inventory management.
- Receive and inspect incoming supplies related to food, beverage, housekeeping, engineering, and general items.
- Verify the quantities, quality, specifications, and expiry dates of all received goods.
- Cross-check Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and invoices for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate stock registers, bin cards, and other inventory records.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and systematic arrangement of all items.
- Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles for food and perishable goods.
- Issue materials strictly against approved Store Requisitions or Material Requisitions.
- Monitor and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels, identifying re-order points proactively.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Track slow-moving, damaged, expired, and excess stock to minimize losses.
- Keep detailed records of food, beverages, chemicals, amenities, linen, engineering items, and consumables.
- Coordinate closely with Purchasing, Accounts, Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Engineering departments.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock and consumption reports.
- Monitor store consumption patterns and wastage to optimize inventory usage.
- Exercise strict control over high-value and sensitive items.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within all store areas.
- Ensure proper temperature and storage conditions for applicable items.
- Control access to store areas and maintain thorough issue and receipt documentation.
- Support month-end stock closing procedures and departmental inventory audits.
- Assist with internal and external audits, resolving any stock discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with hotel Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), inventory controls, and store policies.
- Supervise and guide Storekeepers and Store Assistants to ensure efficient store management.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to guarantee accurate stock availability at all times.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Hotel Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- 10 to 12 years of experience managing hotel store or inventory operations.
- Strong knowledge of hotel purchasing, receiving, storage, and inventory control processes.
- Proven experience handling stores for Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Engineering departments.
- Familiarity with Goods Received Notes (GRN), Purchase Orders (PO), Store Requisitions, stock reconciliation, and inventory procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with inventory or ERP systems.
- Solid understanding of FIFO and FEFO principles along with best practices for food storage.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment is highly desirable.
