Store Keeper

The Store Keeper will play a vital role in managing the hospital’s inventory efficiently to ensure uninterrupted supply to various departments. This position involves handling daily departmental indents, issuing stock in a timely manner, and maintaining accurate inventory records through the ERP system. The Store Keeper will also prepare purchase requisitions and collaborate closely with the Purchase Department to maintain optimal stock levels. Additionally, the role includes overseeing stock control measures such as monitoring expired items, conducting regular audits, and supervising store helpers to maintain proper storage and organization within the hospital store.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily departmental indents and issue stock as required.
- Maintain and update inventory records and transactions within the ERP system.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and coordinate effectively with the Purchase Department.
- Monitor stock levels regularly, identify expired items, and ensure correct item coding.
- Conduct periodic stock audits to verify inventory accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained and supervise store helpers to support efficient store operations.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum education level of Intermediate.
- Prior experience in storekeeping or inventory management is essential.
- Basic computer skills with familiarity in ERP or inventory management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities to liaise with multiple hospital departments.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Diploma or higher qualification in storekeeping or inventory management is preferred.
- Experience working within a hospital environment will be considered an advantage.
- This is a full-time position requiring physical presence at the hospital premises.
- The role is based at BHY Hospital, located in Karachi’s Clifton area, specifically at Delhi Colony, Off Chaudhry Khaleeq-uz-Zaman Road, Block 8.
