Store Manager – Food (Grocery )

This role involves managing the overall daily operations of a retail store, ensuring that sales targets are consistently met while maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation. The Store Manager will lead and motivate the team, oversee inventory and cash handling processes, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Coordination with the Head Office and other departments is essential to streamline operations and address any issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day store operations efficiently to achieve daily, monthly, and annual sales targets.
- Lead, supervise, train, and motivate store staff to maintain high performance and morale.
- Prepare staff schedules and monitor attendance, discipline, and overall employee performance.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock receiving, replenishment, and resolving stock discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, smooth POS operations, and conduct daily cash reconciliation.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and handle customer complaints effectively.
- Ensure proper product display, merchandising, cleanliness, and overall store presentation.
- Monitor store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare daily and weekly performance reports.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations.
- Coordinate operational matters with the Head Office and relevant departments.
- Implement measures to control stock loss and shrinkage, ensuring appropriate security protocols.
- Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews to foster continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years of retail experience, including at least 2 years in a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager role.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Good knowledge of sales processes, inventory control, POS systems, and retail operations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Location and Compensation:
This position is based in Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Karachi, and requires working on-site. The monthly salary range is Rs175,000 to Rs225,000.
