Beaconhouse School System is seeking a dedicated Student Portfolio Advisor for its Karakoram Campus in Islamabad. This full-time role involves guiding students through their academic and extracurricular development, with a focus on preparing them for higher education and career opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in counseling, particularly with IGCSE/GCE students, and will play a key role in supporting students’ transitions to A Levels and beyond by providing personalized guidance and fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Organize sessions and workshops for students and parents to raise awareness about various career paths, university application processes, and the importance of early profile building.
- Identify high-potential students and assist them in admission readiness for leading international universities through profile development and personalized counseling.
- Support students in setting academic goals, selecting appropriate subjects, and navigating the IGCSE/GCE curriculum effectively.
- Conduct regular meetings with all O Level students, with special attention to high-potential individuals, ensuring they meet academic and extracurricular milestones throughout the year.
- Collaborate closely with parents and students to discuss progress, address concerns, and develop tailored support plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions, counseling sessions, and support plans.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, teachers, and school administrators to ensure open and effective communication.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in counseling, preferably with IGCSE/GCE students.

Skills and Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong communication, empathy, and active listening abilities.
- Cultural competence to work effectively with diverse students, parents, and staff, promoting inclusivity and cultural awareness.
- Strong organizational skills, including record-keeping, time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications such as Sheets and Documents.
- Effective presentation skills to engage students and parents during workshops and counseling sessions.
