We are seeking a dedicated Store Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory handling, accurate stock records, and proper storage of goods. The role involves supervising store staff, maintaining organized warehouse activities, and overseeing the timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards while driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, issuing, and transferring inventory. Ensure smooth operations and proper handling of goods within the warehouse.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to maintain stock accuracy across all warehouse locations. Prevent shortages, overstocking, and discrepancies by ensuring proper recording and maintenance of stock.
Receiving and Inspection: Supervise the receipt of incoming goods, verifying items against purchase orders and delivery documents. Ensure thorough inspection for quality and quantity before storage.
Stock Issuance and Dispatch: Manage the issuance and dispatch of inventory items to various departments, branches, or locations according to approved requests and schedules.
Inventory Audits: Conduct and oversee regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits. Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely reconciliation of inventory records.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation for all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and returns. Prepare and submit detailed inventory and stock movement reports to management.
Team Supervision: Lead and guide store staff, including Store Executives and Store Assistants. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and enforce adherence to warehouse procedures.
Warehouse Organization: Ensure proper storage, labeling, and categorization of inventory items to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
Safety and Compliance: Enforce warehouse safety protocols and company policies. Promote safe handling of goods and maintain a clean, secure warehouse.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance warehouse operations and inventory processes, increasing efficiency and reducing operational issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2 to 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, store management, or inventory management.
Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Effective communication and coordination abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Requirements
Prior supervisory experience in warehouse or supply chain operations is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Willingness to assist during inventory audits and peak operational periods.
Physical capability to handle and move inventory items when necessary.
