Storekeeper – Le French Club Islamabad

Le French Club Islamabad is seeking a responsible and organized Storekeeper to oversee daily inventory management, including receiving, storage, issuance, and maintaining accurate stock records. The ideal candidate will have strong inventory control skills, keen attention to detail, and preferably experience within a hotel, club, restaurant, or hospitality setting. This full-time position is based at G-5, Islamabad, within the Administration & Operations department.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain precise records of all incoming and outgoing stock to support inventory tracking.
- Issue supplies to various departments only upon receiving authorized requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels regularly to identify shortages or excess inventory and take appropriate action.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
- Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles, especially for food and beverage items, to minimize waste.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, labeling, cleanliness, and security of all store areas.
- Monitor expiry dates, damaged goods, slow-moving stock, and wastage to maintain stock quality.
- Maintain all relevant documentation including Goods Received Notes (GRNs), requisitions, and stock issue records.
- Coordinate effectively with Procurement, Finance, Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and other departments to streamline operations.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports as required by management.
- Immediately report any stock discrepancies, shortages, damages, or unauthorized movements to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensure no stock is issued without proper authorization and documentation to maintain accountability.
- Support monthly stocktaking, audits, and inventory reconciliation processes.
- Uphold confidentiality, honesty, and accountability in handling company inventory at all times.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience as a Storekeeper or in inventory management, preferably within hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or club operations.
- Good knowledge of stock control and inventory procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with inventory or store management systems.
- Strong numerical skills and meticulous record-keeping ability.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to perform efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- High level of honesty, integrity, and accountability in professional conduct.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of food storage standards, hygiene practices, and stock rotation techniques will be considered an advantage.
