This role exists to address the growing need for dedicated analytical and operational support beneath Disrupt’s leadership. Currently, strategic decisions and business cases are developed informally and inconsistently, leading to misaligned priorities and fragmented follow-through. The person in this position will build and run the planning, reporting, and decision-making infrastructure for the Executive Committee and Core Leadership Team, transforming how leadership effectiveness and organizational performance are managed. This is a foundational role focused on creating systems rather than maintaining existing ones, with a direct impact on driving the company’s ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Goal Setting and OKR Management: Design and manage the full goal-setting process, including annual objectives, quarterly OKRs, and monthly targets across all functions and ventures. Lead the weekly leadership tracking rhythm to monitor progress, identify risks, and facilitate timely decisions. Ensure accountability by capturing decisions, assigning owners, and driving actions to completion.

- Prioritization Across Functions and Ventures: Maintain a live, transparent overview of all ongoing initiatives, their resourcing, and sequencing implications. Continuously reprioritize work based on changing conditions, presenting clear trade-offs and recommendations to the Executive Committee. Own cross-functional priority initiatives that lack clear ownership and convert leadership intent into actionable work plans with defined milestones.

- Strategic Analysis and Decision Support: Provide rigorous analytical support for the Executive Committee’s critical decisions. Break down complex, ambiguous problems into structured hypotheses and deliver confident recommendations. Develop and maintain financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses. Challenge assumptions in proposals and lead post-mortems to ensure learning informs future decisions.

- Performance Reporting and Decision Governance: Build a unified leadership reporting system that replaces fragmented and inconsistent reports. Establish a disciplined review cadence including monthly, quarterly, and portfolio reviews. Define and implement decision governance processes, including documentation, evidence requirements, and revisiting decisions as new information emerges.

- Leadership Communication: Prepare board, investor, and leadership materials that prioritize analysis and withstand scrutiny. Support Executive Committee and Core Leadership Team members in preparing for high-stakes discussions by providing concise briefs, data, and anticipated objections. Manage the Core Leadership Team’s operating rhythm, including agendas, pre-reads, and follow-up on decisions.

Required Qualifications

- 3–6 years of post-graduate experience, primarily in management consulting at a top-tier firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or a strong strategy firm (e.g., Kearney, Strategy&, Oliver Wyman). Candidates with experience transitioning into strategy, chief-of-staff, or corporate development roles in high-growth companies are also considered.

- Proven ownership of complete workstreams with direct exposure to senior leadership, demonstrating substantive responsibility beyond analyst-level tasks.

- Advanced structured problem-solving skills and hypothesis-driven thinking.

- Strong financial fluency, capable of building and defending financial models independently.

- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex analyses into clear, concise, and defensible summaries.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Top-tier management consulting training.

- Experience in venture building, private equity, growth equity, investment banking, or high-growth operating environments.

- Exposure to MENAP markets or global tech/venture ecosystems.

- Sector experience relevant to Disrupt’s portfolio, including technology, digital commerce, financial services, and B2B software.

- Candidates committed to building a long-term career in Pakistan, including those relocating or recently repatriated.

Additional Information

This role requires a builder mindset—creating new processes and systems rather than maintaining existing ones. The successful candidate will operate with significant independence, influence senior stakeholders without direct reports, and thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments. Comfort with rapid iteration, public learning, and defending well-formed views is essential.

What You Will Gain

You will have direct access to the Founding Partners and leadership team, ownership of the company’s operating infrastructure, and exposure to the full venture lifecycle from formation to exit. The role offers a clear, performance-based path to Chief of Staff and opportunities for future leadership roles across the organization. Compensation is competitive and includes long-term incentive plans alongside global leadership exposure.
