Structural Draftsman

AESOM is seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to join our Design and Architecture Department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working on both local and USA-based structural projects, capable of producing precise, coordinated, and construction-ready drawings. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively translate engineering designs and architectural plans into accurate structural documentation while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed structural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
- Develop reinforced concrete (RCC), concrete, structural steel, foundation, and framing details.
- Produce shop drawings and construction documentation.
- Convert engineering designs, calculations, and markups into accurate drawings.
- Read and interpret architectural plans and structural engineering drawings.
- Coordinate structural drawings with Architecture, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure consistency.
- Incorporate engineer and consultant comments, managing drawing revisions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate drawing sets, revisions, and related documentation.
- Support Revit/BIM modeling and multidisciplinary coordination efforts.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards, and deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- 3 to 7 years of relevant structural drafting experience.
- Proven experience working on USA-based structural projects.
- Strong background in local building and construction projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Revit, Revit Structure, and BIM software.
- Solid understanding of RCC, concrete, steel reinforcement, and structural detailing.
- Experience preparing shop drawings and construction documentation.
- Ability to interpret structural calculations, architectural drawings, and engineer markups accurately.
- Familiarity with US construction standards, codes, and drafting practices is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong coordination skills, and ability to manage deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
