Structural Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman with over two years of experience to join our team in Bahria Town Phase 08, Rawalpindi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise structural drawings that support both design and site operations. This role requires close collaboration with engineers, architects, and site personnel to ensure drawings are accurate, compliant with building codes, and ready for construction. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 80,000 to 120,000.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed structural drawings including foundation plans, framing layouts, and reinforcement/rebar arrangements based on engineers’ designs and calculations.
- Translate structural engineers’ sketches and specifications into comprehensive, construction-ready drawings.
- Develop and update shop drawings, bar bending schedules, and detailed plans for reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Collaborate effectively with structural engineers, architects, and site teams to identify and resolve any design discrepancies.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and structural details for accuracy prior to issuing drawings for construction.
- Revise drawings promptly in response to site feedback, design modifications, or engineer instructions.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and version control to ensure documentation integrity.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant building codes and structural standards.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in structural drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with Revit, Tekla, or STAAD is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete (RCC) and steel structural detailing, including reinforcement and bar bending schedules.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, load paths, and construction details accurately.
- Competence in understanding structural engineers’ calculations and sketches.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work seamlessly with engineers and site teams.
