Structural Draftsman - USA Projects

AESOM is seeking an experienced Structural Draftsman with a strong background in both USA and local structural projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in AutoCAD, Revit/Revit Structure, RCC, concrete, steel, structural detailing, and construction drawings. This role requires someone capable of producing accurate, detailed drawings that meet project specifications and deadlines, while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed structural plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
- Develop RCC, concrete, steel, foundation, framing, and reinforcement details.
- Produce shop drawings and construction documentation.
- Convert structural designs, calculations, and engineer markups into precise drawings.
- Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.
- Coordinate with Architecture, MEP, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure project alignment.
- Incorporate consultant and engineer comments, managing revisions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate drawing sets, revisions, and project documentation.
- Support Revit/BIM modeling and multidisciplinary coordination efforts.
- Deliver high-quality drawings within established project deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- 3 to 7 years of experience in structural drafting.
- Proven experience working on USA-based structural projects is mandatory.
- Strong background in local building and construction projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Revit, Revit Structure, and BIM software.
- Solid understanding of RCC, concrete, structural steel, reinforcement, and detailing.
- Experience preparing shop drawings and construction documentation.
- Ability to interpret structural calculations and engineer markups accurately.
- Familiarity with US construction standards, codes, and drafting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
Experience with USA residential, commercial, or multi-story building projects is a significant advantage, especially in structural detailing, Revit Structure, BIM coordination, and construction/shop drawings.
