Structural & MEP Draftsman

AESOM is seeking motivated and skilled Structural and MEP Draftsmen to join our Lahore-based team and contribute to projects focused on the USA construction market. Candidates will be involved in detailed design and coordination tasks that support structural and MEP engineering teams, gaining valuable exposure to US construction standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities

For Structural Draftsmen, responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings for reinforced concrete, steel, and foundation elements. This involves framing, reinforcement detailing, and producing shop drawings using Revit Structure while coordinating with structural teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

MEP Draftsmen will focus on developing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing layouts. Tasks include designing ductwork, piping, and drainage systems, as well as coordinating equipment and preparing MEP shop drawings that align with project specifications.

Both roles require interpreting engineering drawings, markups, and project specifications to produce precise and high-quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency in AutoCAD and have working knowledge of Revit and BIM software. The ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings and project documentation is essential. Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning are critical for success in this role.

Experience with US construction standards is highly advantageous, as projects are based in the USA and require adherence to relevant codes and practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
