Structure Engineer

Union Developers is looking for a dedicated Structural Engineer to join their Engineering & Construction team in Lahore, Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for the structural design and analysis of buildings and other construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, engineering standards, and safety regulations. This role involves close collaboration with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and site teams to maintain high-quality construction standards and resolve any structural engineering challenges that arise on site.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations, and design documents.
- Perform structural analysis and design for various construction projects.
- Ensure all structural designs comply with relevant building codes and engineering standards.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and site personnel.
- Conduct site inspections to verify that construction work aligns with approved structural drawings.
- Monitor construction quality and address any structural engineering issues promptly.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material specifications to ensure compliance.
- Maintain structural safety, stability, and develop cost-effective design solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a preference for Structural Engineering specialization.
- Between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in structural design and construction projects.
- Must hold a valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
- Strong knowledge of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) and steel structures.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with applicable building codes and construction standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
