The Student Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Faisalabad, focused on guiding students through their study abroad journeys, particularly in China and other key destinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive counseling to students regarding study abroad options, admission processes, and scholarship opportunities, ensuring information is accurate and current.
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions and respond promptly to student inquiries.
- Prepare, review, and assist with application documents for universities and scholarship programs.
- Coordinate effectively with educational institutions and internal teams to facilitate smooth application processes.
- Support outreach initiatives such as informational sessions, presentations, and social media updates to promote education consultancy services.
- Maintain detailed and organized student records, monitor application progress, and provide ongoing support from initial counseling through to pre-departure guidance.
- Engage with students using office software, online communication tools, and social media platforms to enhance student interaction and information dissemination.
- Manage multiple student cases simultaneously, working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong counseling and advisory skills with the ability to understand student goals and recommend suitable academic pathways.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear written and verbal communication and active listening.
- Well-developed organizational and administrative abilities, capable of managing documentation, tracking applications, and maintaining accurate records.
- Basic knowledge of international education systems, admission procedures, and visa processes; familiarity with Chinese universities is advantageous.
- Customer service orientation focused on responsiveness, professionalism, and building long-term relationships.
- Proficiency in using office software, online communication tools, and social media platforms for student engagement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Business, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Fluency in English and Urdu.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
