Student Counselor

Study in University, a UK-based education consultancy, is seeking a motivated and experienced Student Recruitment & Admissions Counsellor to join our admissions team in Lahore, Pakistan. This full-time role involves supporting prospective students through the entire admissions process, from initial enquiry to enrolment. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the UK higher education system and enjoy working closely with a diverse range of students, including school leavers, mature students, and working professionals. The primary focus will be on recruiting and assisting UK home students, providing expert guidance on university courses, admissions, and student finance.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond promptly to prospective student enquiries, offering clear and accurate guidance on courses and universities.
- Assess student eligibility and recommend appropriate UK university programmes tailored to individual needs.
- Manage applications across foundation, undergraduate, top-up, and postgraduate levels.
- Assist students with UCAS and direct university application processes.
- Provide detailed advice on Student Finance England (SFE) procedures to support students’ funding needs.
- Follow up on enquiries to convert potential applicants into confirmed enrolments.
- Liaise effectively with universities regarding application statuses, offers, and admission requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and application information.
- Work diligently to meet student recruitment and enrolment targets.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in student recruitment, university admissions, or education consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of UK university admissions processes and entry requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage confidently with students and university representatives.
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple student enquiries and applications efficiently.
- Proactive approach to recruitment, including timely follow-ups and target achievement.
- Competent computer skills and administrative capabilities.
