Student Counselor

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to help prospective students select suitable study destinations, programs, and universities based on their academic profiles and career goals.
- Explain admission procedures, visa requirements, and application processes clearly and accurately.
- Assist students in preparing and reviewing application documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with institutional standards.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of student interactions, applications, and progress.
- Coordinate with partner universities and institutions to facilitate smooth communication and timely processing of applications.
- Provide regular updates to students regarding the status of their applications and any additional requirements.
- Support outreach initiatives by responding professionally to inquiries from students and families, promoting the organization’s services.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students, respecting diverse backgrounds and aspirations.

Required Qualifications

- Strong skills in student and career counseling, with the ability to guide learners in making informed academic and professional decisions.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities to engage effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Solid understanding of international education systems and study pathways to advise on appropriate programs and destinations.
- Experience in overseas education consultancy, admissions processing, or related advisory roles is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Ability to work methodically with attention to detail, good time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Urdu, with the capability to convey complex information clearly and respectfully.
- Commitment to ethical counseling practices, maintaining impartiality and sensitivity to the diverse needs of students.
