Global Mobility Experts (GME) is a leading international education consultancy committed to guiding students through their study-abroad journey. We provide expert academic counseling, university admissions support, scholarship assistance, and visa application guidance. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Student Counselor who can effectively convert student inquiries into confirmed enrollments while ensuring a professional and positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide counseling to students on international admissions, study destinations, scholarships, and visa requirements.
- Evaluate student profiles to recommend appropriate universities, academic programs, and service packages.
- Manage and respond to leads generated through WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, the company website, and referrals.
- Conduct consultations with students and their parents via phone, WhatsApp, and online meetings.
- Follow up consistently with prospective clients to meet monthly enrollment and conversion targets.
- Assist students with registrations, service agreements, and selecting suitable packages.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and submit daily and weekly performance reports.
- Coordinate with the processing team and obtain student testimonials with proper consent.
Required Qualifications
- Immediate availability to join within one week of selection is mandatory.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in student counseling or study-abroad consultancy.
- Bachelor’s degree completed or currently in progress; business-related degrees are preferred but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English and Urdu is required; proficiency in additional local languages is advantageous.
- Willingness to attend occasional in-person client meetings in Karachi when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- The role is initially remote, with plans to transition to a hybrid or office-based work model in Karachi as the company establishes its physical office. Any changes to work location will be communicated in advance.
- The position includes a one-month probation period during which performance and conduct will be assessed. Successful completion of probation will lead to confirmation as a permanent employee.
- Opportunities for promotion and advancement to senior roles are available based on performance, commitment, and business needs.
- Monthly salary ranges from Rs45,000 to Rs50,000.
- Candidates must be comfortable with the future transition to working physically from the Karachi office.
