Student Consulting Network (Pvt) Ltd., established in 2006, is a leading educational consulting firm dedicated to assisting Pakistani students in pursuing higher education abroad. Representing over 50 reputable universities worldwide, SCN provides personalized and transparent guidance to help students navigate international study options and pathways. The organization emphasizes ethical practices and long-term student success, ensuring applicants make well-informed decisions about their academic futures.

Key Responsibilities
The Study Abroad Advisor will be based full-time on-site in Islamabad and will play a pivotal role in guiding students throughout the entire study abroad journey. This includes assisting with program selection, application preparation, admission requirements, and documentation. The advisor will conduct counseling sessions and respond to inquiries through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and emails. Maintaining accurate records of student profiles and application statuses is essential. Additionally, the advisor will provide detailed information on visa procedures, coordinate with university partners, organize information sessions, and support students and their families with timelines, financial planning, and pre-departure orientation. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance service quality, staying updated on international education trends, and upholding SCN’s standards for ethical, student-centered consulting are also critical aspects of the role.

Required Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to conduct effective counseling sessions and manage expectations of both students and parents. A solid understanding of visa procedures, including documentation requirements and timelines for major study destinations, is required. Experience with admission and visa processing for multiple countries is highly valued. Applicants should hold a relevant bachelor’s degree, such as in Education, Social Sciences, Business, or International Relations, or possess equivalent professional experience in student advising or international education. Strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with common office software and student database tools are essential. The ability to work collaboratively within a team, maintain professionalism, and handle sensitive information discreetly is also important.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Prior experience in study abroad advising, international admissions, or working directly with overseas universities is considered an advantage.
