We are seeking a highly qualified Chief Engineer with a Certificate of Competency Class 1 (Motor) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of recent experience serving as Chief Engineer on Foreign Going (FG) tanker vessels within the last seven years. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of managing engineering operations on board, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient vessel performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all engineering department operations on board the tanker vessel.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with international maritime regulations and safety standards.
- Lead and supervise the engineering team, providing guidance and training as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and operational activities.
- Collaborate with the ship’s master and other departments to ensure smooth vessel operations.
- Implement and uphold environmental protection measures in line with maritime laws.

Required Qualifications
- Certificate of Competency Class 1 (Motor) is mandatory.
- Minimum of one year sailing experience as Chief Engineer on Foreign Going tanker vessels within the last seven years.
- At least seven years of total relevant maritime experience.
- Must be under the age of 57 at the time of application.
- Proven ability to manage engineering teams and maintain complex marine machinery.
- Strong knowledge of maritime safety regulations and environmental standards.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
