Supervisor – Accounts Payable & Receivable

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the company’s payable and receivable functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and relevant experience in retail or boutique environments. This role requires a professional who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy and timely financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier payments and customer receivables.
- Verify invoices, bills, payment requests, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts on a regular basis.
- Prepare payment schedules and coordinate with management for necessary approvals.
- Oversee cash, bank, and credit transactions.
- Maintain precise accounting records and documentation.
- Generate regular reports on outstanding payables and receivables.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, branches, and internal departments on financial matters.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial documents.
- Assist management with monthly closing and other accounting requirements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional, responsible, and organized approach to work.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience in retail, boutique, clothing brand, or multi-branch business environments is preferred.
- Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Karachi before starting work is required.
- Comfortable working hours from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
- This is a full-time, on-site position located at Tariq Road, Karachi.
- Salary range: PKR 45,000 – 55,000 per month.
