Supervisor - Fire & Safety

Rajby Industries is seeking a dedicated Supervisor - Fire & Safety to oversee and ensure effective fire safety practices throughout the facility. The role involves conducting regular inspections, maintaining fire safety systems, and promoting awareness among employees to foster a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial fire safety and a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily fire safety inspections across all shifts to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure that fire extinguishers, hydrants, fire pumps, fire alarms, and related equipment are fully operational and accessible at all times.
- Monitor and report any deficiencies in fire safety equipment promptly to facilitate timely corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with applicable fire safety regulations and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.
- Deliver basic fire safety awareness sessions and training programs for employees and staff to enhance preparedness.
- Support emergency preparedness initiatives, including organizing fire drills and evacuation procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, checklists, and all fire safety documentation to ensure traceability and accountability.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE), or a relevant field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial fire safety, demonstrating practical knowledge and application.
- Strong familiarity with NFPA standards and applicable regulatory requirements within the fire safety domain.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Completion of the General Instruction (GI) Course from Civil Defence is highly preferred, as it adds value to the candidate’s expertise in emergency response and fire safety protocols.
