As a leader in self-service wholesale with over 750 stores worldwide and a workforce exceeding 107,000 employees, METRO Pakistan is inviting applications for the position of Supervisor at its Distribution Centre in Sargodha.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize deliveries to customers ensuring the right quantity and adherence to required specifications.
- Conduct market visits twice weekly to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and gather direct customer feedback.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of orders and stock availability to lead timely, efficient deliveries while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Verify daily fuel costs and transactions, ensuring all related documentation is accurate and complete.
- Monitor and ensure the productivity of delivery vans meets operational targets.
- Handle and coordinate resolution of customer complaints related to delivery issues promptly and effectively.
- Promote sales of own-brand products to enhance revenue growth.
- Address customer concerns to understand their needs and expectations, proposing appropriate solutions.
- Coach and train team members on existing and new operational concepts, technologies, and functionalities to support team objectives and improve technical skills and attitudes.
- Monitor team performance to identify gaps between expected and actual productivity, implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Review and approve all operational activities performed by team members including Pickers, Loaders, and Delivery personnel.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures by all team members.
