Since opening its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007, METRO has rapidly expanded to operate 10 wholesale centers across major cities including Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad, and Faisalabad. Following the strategic merger with Makro-Habib in 2012, the company strengthened its market position by combining resources to deliver enhanced value to customers and suppliers alike. METRO is currently seeking a Supervisor for its Distribution Centre in Sargodha to oversee delivery operations and ensure high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize deliveries to customers, ensuring the correct quantity and specifications are met.
- Conduct market visits twice weekly to verify compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and gather direct customer feedback.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of orders and stock availability, leading timely and efficient deliveries with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Verify daily fuel costs and transactions, ensuring all related documentation is accurate and complete.
- Monitor and ensure the productivity of delivery vans meets operational targets.
- Handle and coordinate resolution of customer complaints related to delivery issues.
- Actively promote METRO’s own-brand products to support sales growth.
- Address customer concerns to understand their needs and expectations, proposing effective solutions.
- Coach and train team members on current and new concepts, technologies, and operational functionalities to enhance their skills and foster a positive work environment.
- Monitor team performance to identify gaps between expected and actual productivity levels.
- Review and approve operational activities of team members, including Pickers, Loaders, and Delivery personnel.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures by all team members.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized institution.
