Dealicious Mealz, based in Tariq Road, Karachi, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Supply Chain Officer to join their back-office team. This role involves managing procurement, inventory, and distribution operations while maintaining close communication with the UK-based team and international suppliers. The position operates Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with weekends off, and requires working on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Demand & Order Planning: Monitor stock levels, evaluate demand trends, and raise purchase orders to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Import/Export Documentation: Handle all aspects of import and export paperwork, including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and customs documentation.
Financial & Cost Analysis: Prepare supply chain financial reports, analyze product and inventory costs, and assess distribution expenses such as logistics, transportation, and warehousing.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage budgeting processes, perform variance analysis, and reconcile invoices and cost allocations accurately.
Cost Control: Identify and implement cost-saving measures across the supply chain network to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work collaboratively with internal teams including Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse to ensure seamless operations.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 4 to 5 years of practical experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Logistics, preferably within the Food or FMCG industry.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with Inventory or ERP management systems is essential.
Documentation Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage import/export documentation and navigate customs procedures effectively.
Communication: Excellent command of fluent English is required for effective communication with the UK team and international suppliers.
Analytical Skills: Strong capabilities in inventory control, order planning, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
Compensation: The monthly salary range for this position is between Rs60,000 and Rs80,000.
