Supply Chain Professional

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Supply Chain professional to join our team in Karachi, specializing in logistics, Import/Export, and DTRE/EFS operations. This role requires close collaboration with various departments and external partners to ensure efficient shipment execution and inventory management. The ideal candidate will bring relevant experience and a proactive approach to optimizing logistics processes while maintaining strong communication with regional and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily activities with Sales, Production, Planning, Freight Forwarders, regional teams, and clients to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Manage forwarder assignments, handle documentation, and oversee the execution of shipments including import, export, and cross-trade operations.
- Contribute to forecasting, inventory planning, and overall inventory management efforts.
- Balance logistics cost and lead time effectively to maintain operational efficiency.
- Initiate and implement projects aimed at reducing costs and lead times related to logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of DTRE/EFS inventory and consumption sheets.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of six months of relevant logistics experience, particularly in cross-trade, import, export, and DTRE/EFS operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of import-export procedures and DTRE/EFS documentation requirements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with regional counterparts and international clients on a daily basis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
- Good presentation skills to support communication and project initiatives.
